Join to sell Scentsy with me, I originally joined Scentsy as I wanted to purchase a Scentsy warmer and a variation of scents. I was purchasing Scentsy from a friend who was already a Scentsy consultant. I lived quite a way away from my friend however I knew I could purchase Scentsy from her for the 1st time and get the Scentsy products sent direct to my home with Scentsy direct shipping. On chatting to my friend she advised me how much the variations of Scentsy bars and Scentsy warmers would cost and went on to chat about the Scentsy join opportunity and the Scentsy starter kit. I instantly realized me being me and being nosey, I could smell all scents if I purchased the Scentsy kit and joined Scentsy as consultant myself. I didnt just want to try a few Scentsy fragrances and products, I wanted to try them all. I loved the sound of the Scentsy products By purchasing the Scentsy starter kit I would get a Scentsy warmer and all of the Scentsy sample scents in my Scentsy starter kit. I intended using the Scentsy sample scents in my Scentsy warmer instead of the full Scentsy bars to try out every scent. To me I thought the Scentsy starter kit was fab value instead of me only getting a variation of scents I wanted to try them all. We discussed joining Scentsy and purchasing the Scentsy starter kit and joining the Scentsy opportunity as a new consultant. The next day I officially joined Scentsy as a new Scentsy consultant. Never in a million years did I think i would be sat here saying I am still a Scentsy consultant. I never once thought Scentsy could work for me. I thought to myself I have nothing to loose by purchasing the Scentsy starter kit and joining Scentsy as a new consultant, if I felt Scentsy is not for me I could simply keep the Scentsy products for me to use personally in my Scentsy warmer from my Scentsy starter kit, it was a win win, situation by purchasing the Scentsy starter kit.
Once my Scentsy starter kit arrived she suggested having a get together at my home just for friends and family to see how things go. There was no pressure and I was sceptical as I had tried Direct selling previously and found it didnt work for me, but thought what can I lose.
Amazingly I was surprised I didnt think anyone would buy Scentsy from me as some people who had a quick glance at the Scentsy brochure alone said looking at the Scentsy brochure the prices of the Scentsy warmers seemed expensive, but as soon as everyone saw the Scentsy products demonstrated, they saw the Scentsy warmer lit up and working and smelt the amazing Scentsy fragrances everyone purchased Scentsy from me! I had a successful launch party to start my Scentsy business! I couldnt believe it. Even my mam purchased a Scentsy warmer and some Scentsy wax bars and she has really bad asthma, she cant use any type of air fresheners at all, but has never had a problem using her Scentsy warmer and Scentsy wax bars and she is now one of my top Scentsy customers.
From my Scentsy launch party this is where my Scentsy journey began, I saw people loved the products, loved the scents and loved the safety aspect of Scentsy. I found my sales took off from word of mouth from those who had purchased Scentsy from me. Now I found myself doing something I actually enjoyed. It wasnt about the money for me at first I wasnt looking for extra work or a new opportunity, but i found something that I enjoyed doing so I continued to sell Scentsy products. I was enjoying the positive feedback from my Scentsy customers, the opportunity to offer something different and sharing the products with new people. I decided to give myself a challenge and that was to see what I could achieve with Scentsy.
I decided to start sponsoring and mentoring new Scentsy consultants to do exactly the same. As well as working full time for my current job I have now worked the Scentsy opportunity around my current lifestyle and my children. I try to never leave my home without a Scentsy brochure, my Scentsy business cards and a handful of Scentsy wax samples in my bag, this allows me to share the Scentsy products or the join opportunity for new consultants to join me offering Scentsy with anyone I may bump into.
I now have a strong customer base and an amazing team that I can call friends, As a team we are all there for each other as often as possible, We have a great support network with have set up on Facebook to help and support each other, if one of us is not around there is always another Scentsy consultant who is happy to step in and help with any questions, help, hints and tips needed. The support from each other is amazing. I know myself it takes time to build a solid customer base, however I also know if you continue to spread the word and share Scentsy products people fall in love and purchase. Most customers always come back for Scentsy bars to use in their warmer once they have purchased a Scentsy Warmer, which makes it really easy to build relationships with customers as well as team members. The reviews from my Scentsy customers have been fantastic and they love the fact once they purchase a Scentsy warmer each warmer comes with a manufacturers warranty, which gives them peace of mind should anything happen.
For me Scentsy has been really family friendly, I can work it around my current lifestyle and also get my children. Joining Scentsy has been an amazing opportunity for me, I love to allow my children to help when it comes to sorting products to share with friends, my daughter loves to advise my friends & customers of which scents she likes, she also loves having Scentsy products in her bedroom to use for herself, my son loves to smell all the different Scentsy wax bars and gives me his opinions on which ones he likes.
I have surprised myself in more ways than one by joining Scentsy as a consultant. I never thought exhibiting in local fairs, craft stalls etc would be for me, however I saw my Scentsy team grow and those who were exhibiting were doing amazing. I decided to take the leap and give one a go. Knowing this is not something I would normally do I was really nervous, the 1st stall I done worked out a success, they are a fantastic way of getting the products shown to people you dont know as well as people you do. People were looking for Scentsy products or Scentsy booking parties, I found even if they didnt purchase on the day they took my details and called when they had the money to buy Scentsy. I personally cant do a lot of events, however if I do get the odd offer of local events, i definitely would take the event. I generally like to sell by friends and family, online and via Facebook along with selling Scentsy products by loaning products to local businesses like hair salons to allow others to see and smell Scentsy products for themselves. I find that generates good orders.
Due to working full time, I find offering Scentsy loan baskets to businesses and parties works for me best rather than actual events (although i love Scentsy events when my time would allow me to take them on). People get to see and trial the products, share Scentsy products with friends and family and collect orders in return for earning free and half priced Scentsy items. Each order over £245 qualifies for free and half priced items. We call these Scentsy host Rewards. This works really well with those who love Scentsy products themselves, it gives them the chance to earn their products much cheaper just by simply sharing the products! I have found a few of my loyal customers have turned into team members and choosing to join Scentsy as a new consultant to place their own Scentsy orders and earn the commission and rewards themselves. From a Scentsy customer to a Scentsy team member they now have the same great opportunity i had to grow my Scentsy business.
Myself and my team of Scentsy consultants have been really lucky, we have been able to continue our Scentsy businesses through the awful Covid 19 times by working on Facebook to gain orders or shipping Scentsy direct to customers. We are all really grateful for the opportunity Scentsy have provided us all, especially through such uncertain times.
